Women's The North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket

Women's The North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket

I got this coat and I could not be happier! it is so warm it is amazing. The fleece material on the chin area is baby soft and warm. I am NEVER cold in this coat and I live in Utah and the nights can be really cold. It has a great length, so all your lower back is covered and toasty warm. I had back surgery and it is VERY important to keep my lower back warm in the winter. It has a great length on the sleeves as well. I can pull my hands inside or leave them out. This coat is not bulky at all either. People cannot believe it is a down coat! It has such a great feminine cut to it. It fits under my snowboard shell. It does make my shell look puffy when i wear it under it, but i won't be cold! I seriously am so extremely happy I got this coat. I wear a medium in everything and the medium fits me perfect in this coat. You will not be disappointed!

Since my initial review on Backcountry.com I have had even more time to test out this down jacket:

I really love it and it is a regular part of my winter wardrobe. It is such an amazing casual down jacket. I would not wear it snowboarding or any aerobic activity. It lacks and type of venting. The thing I love the best about it is I can wear a hood underneath it and I still don’t look at fat and puffy. The cut and baffling pattern on this is so phenomenal and awesome. If you are looking for a great down coat to wear casually this is your jacket!

Sizing: I wear medium coats, shirts and Hoodies in every outdoor brand and this medium fits me perfect. North Face tends to run a tad large so if you are in between sizes and wear smalls more than mediums, go with the small, unless you have long arms…go with the medium.

I will include a real photo of me in the coat later.

the color I own is Black
